Solar System Simulation Project is that displays the entire solar system. The project is developed using OpenGl Graphics API and C++ programming Language for windows Platform.
It uses the latest OpenGL version 4.0 and GLSL(OpenGL Shading Language) 4.0. Other Libraries used are GLEW(OpenGL Extension Wrangler) Library for Shading Language support,GLFW (OpenGL FrameWork) for creating Window, Rendering context and GLM Core as the Math Library.
The scene starts with all the Solar System Objects (Sun, Earth, Mars etc..) rotating on their own axis and following a Elliptical Orbit. The initial scene is displayed from a fixed camera position.
The Mouse Scroll button can be used to zoom in and out the camera position. Pointing the mouse button on an object to view the details of it. The space bar can be used to stop/resume the animation.
